Mrs Mazzeta’s class – won pizza party for the coins for cancer fundraiser
District Wide Music festival was incredible, over a dozen Watsessing students participated
Spring concert – went great!
Facilities – Watsessing will be the home of the Town Summer Rec program
PARCC starts April 3, 2017 – Students who will be refusing will be placed in another grade classroom,
All the lights have been updated, and timed correctly

BOE representative Mr Anderson –
4th graders – performed violin at the last BOE meeting.
Budget is being proposed at next BOE meeting,
State DOE – budget is frozen funding from state.
Every child succeeds – same as No child left behind –
BOE affirmed a resolution that district will educate all children who reside in the district. (related to the trump immigration issue)
Resolution written urging county clerks to do their own county residency check for people who are running for the BOE. Will be presented to the County BOE.
Energy saving improvement program – 1 – replace existing lights with LED light. Investment is paid for by the realized savings.
Bridge by middle school is now open

Park lane jewelry fundraiser – will be sent out in virtual backpack – end on May 1st
Morning homework club – open to everyone in the morning 8-8:30 tues/wed/thurs/friday
